Some of these techniques include compositng, growing nitrogen fixing crops, and mulching among others. We’ll cover concepts of till vs. no till in improving soil quality.
Finally we will discuss different composting methods for backyard gardens such as static aeration, in container, and vermicomposting. As well as different amendments for compost such as biochar, and mushroom innoculation.
We will demonstartate these concepts by making compost tea and applying it to our planted beds.
